The Terrace at Sennebec:

Start your forever in the heart of Midcoast Maine.

Close-up of a white-painted wooden garden fence decorated with purple and blue artificial flowers and green leaves, with a blurred outdoor background.
A woman and a man are standing outside during sunset, smiling, with their arms around each other. The woman is wearing a white dress with a brown belt, and the man is wearing a light-colored short-sleeve button-up shirt and dark pants.

Rolling fields. A hand-built stone terrace. A weathered barn full of warmth. Sennebec Farm is not just a venue — it's the kind of place where the setting does the work, and the memories make themselves.

The Spaces

A stone wall with an old wagon wheel leaning against it, in front of a garden with flowers and shrubs, and a wooden structure on top, with trees and a blue sky with clouds in the background.

The Terrace

Our stone terrace was hand-built by two local brothers using stones from the property's own walls. Perched at the highest point of the farm, it offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and fields that guests consistently describe as breathtaking. Brides and grooms may choose our handmade birch arbor or a brushed iron arch for their ceremony. The Terrace is a short walk from the barn and accessible by vehicle.

A rustic interior wooden barn with a long wooden bench against the wall, two cream-colored chairs, two black stools, and a black mat on the concrete floor, with a ceiling light fixture and an exit door with an emergency fire extinguisher nearby.

The Barn

The barn is warm, rustic, and completely its own. Exposed beams, birch bark details, Edison lighting, and two handmade bars built by two of Wendy’s uncles whose love of this place helped bring it back to life. The barn seats 25–40 guests and is ideal for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and dancing. For larger groups, a tent beside the barn expands capacity comfortably.

A small creek runs through a grassy wetland surrounded by trees and shrubs, with some dry brown grass and leafless branches.

Trails, Creek & Lawns

The grounds are an extension of the celebration. Guests can walk the creek path, explore 65 acres of rugged land across the brook, play cornhole or horseshoes on the lawn, or simply wander and breathe. The landscape is dotted with heirloom farm equipment, stone walls, and wildflowers — every corner a photograph waiting to happen.

The group includes a woman with blonde hair and a pink dress, a man with on a floral shirt and sunglasses on his head, and two young men with curly hair, one wearing a striped shirt and the other a cap. The background shows other people, some standing and some at tables, inside the wooden structure.
